The north of Chile can be visited all year round. The climate is particularly characterized by drought, precipitation is extremely rare . The climate in the south is cooler and has more rainfall than the rest of Chile. January and February are the warmest months in the south of Chile with a maximum temperature of 23 degrees . Often, however, the thermometer does not rise above 16 degrees even in summer if you are in the deep south of the country. With eight hours of sunshine, the sun shines the longest in January and February. The darkest months are June and July with two hours of sunshine per day. The winter is characterized by high rainfall, in June you have to expect 21 rainy days. A true paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and hikers awaits in the south of Chile . Numerous national parks such as the Torres del Paine make the hearts of adventurers beat faster. The summer months are definitely recommended for a trip to the south of Chile.
